Because it has been studied specifically for children, in pediatric age, to whom it is administered in the form of herbal tea with the following indications: calms gaseous and spastic colic, facilitates digestion and has slightly sedative properties.

Baby is a compound that combines the extracts of chamomile, linden, fennel and aniseed which carries out an antispasmodic stomachic action, facilitates the expulsion of gas present in the gastro-intestinal tract preventing and soothing gaseous and spastic colic and has also an anti inflammatory action.

Fennel.
Fennel (Foenicum vulgare) belongs to the family of Apiaceae.
In phytotherapy, Fennel is recommended in cases of digestive difficulties, abdominal cramps and abdominal swelling, even when caused by constipation. In fact, Fennel has an antispasmodic action on gastric mucosa and a carminative action: it reduces the formation of gas in the bowel and helps to eliminate the present one, often cause of pain.

Anise.

Anise (Pimpinella anisum L.) is a plant belonging to the family of Umbelliferae, whose seeds are used. Like Fennel, Anise boasts important eupeptic properties: it helps, that is, to promote a correct digestion. Moreover, in synergy with Fennel, Anise helps to reduce intestinal fermentation and, for this reason, it is also used in the treatment of meteorism and aerophagia.

Lime Tree.

Lime tree (Tilia Tomentosa) is a tree of the family Tiliaceae.

Its leaves and flowers are recommended to defeat tachycardia and headache, to alleviate stress and to promote night rest.

The pain relieving properties of linden towards headache are due to its action towards the circulatory system and the consequent lowering of arterial pressure. By also regulating pressure, linden is one of the natural remedies of choice for states of anxiety and agitation.

Chamomile.

Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) belongs to the Asteraceae family.

Its flowers, as known, are used as adjuvants for general relaxation. However, differently from what is commonly thought, Chamomile does not have a direct power towards sleep (differently from Escholzia and Passion flower, for example), but it has antispasmodic properties. Excellent, therefore, as a muscle relaxant and in the treatment of cramps, Chamomile promotes general relaxation which, in turn, promotes night rest.

Ingredients: 99% Italian honey, plant extracts of: Chamomile (Matricarica chamomilla), Lime (Tilia europea L.), Fennel (Fueniculum vulgare L.), Anise (Pimpinella anisum L.), in varying proportions.
