Why "FLU"?

"Flu" because it is an effective and natural remedy for flu-like conditions and the annoying symptoms they bring.
Mint, Pine, Thyme, Eucalyptus, Anise and Cajeput give it a balsamic scent and make the herbal tea perfect for decongesting the airways, given their mucolytic and expectorant properties. Tea Tree Oil, in synergy with Cajeput, gives the drink an antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal and antiparasitic action.
Honey Flu, therefore, also helps to prevent flu, urinary tract infections and gastrointestinal parasitosis.

Propolis.
Propolis is a truly formidable natural product.
Its beneficial properties are numerous and, among them, the antibacterial, immunostimulant and antiviral ones stand out. Besides giving immediate relief in case of inflamed throat, propolis helps to prevent flu-like illnesses, strengthening the immune system.

Eucalyptus.
Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) is a plant of the Myrtaceae family. The essential oil obtained from the leaves of this plant is widely used in phytotherapy to fight sinusitis, cough and nasal congestions. In fact, Eucalyptus leaves contain a variety of natural substances - such as eucalyptol and pinene - having a mucolytic and expectorant action. Moreover, this plant boasts antibacterial and antiseptic properties, which make it indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections such as cystitis and fungal infections such as candida.

Cajeput.

Cajeput Essential Oil is extracted from the Melaleuca cajeputi plant and is also called "White Tea Tree".
With a less intense smell than Tea Tree essential oil, Cajeput oil shares with this one the great antiseptic properties. In phytotherapy, therefore, it is recommended for the treatment of various disorders and inflammations, including those of the respiratory system. Cajeput essential oil is one of the best natural remedies for bronchitis, cough, pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, sinusitis, asthma, cystitis and prostatitis.

Mint.
Mint (Mentha) is a perennial plant rich in polyphenols having an antiseptic action.
Mint leaves have many other benefits for the body, including a strong decongestant action on the respiratory system. For this reason, Mint essential oil is used for the treatment of colds, coughs and respiratory system affections.

Pine.
Mugo Pine (Pinus Mugo) is an evergreen shrub of the Pinaceae family from which an essential oil is extracted and used in phytotherapy, especially during winter months.
The expectorant and anti-inflammatory properties of Mugo Pine are widely recognized. Also because of its very pleasant balsamic taste, the essential oil of pine is one of the remedies of choice for the treatment of flu.

Thyme.
Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) belongs to the Labiateae family.
Rich source of thymol, Thyme has antiseptic, fluidifying and antispasmodic properties. Indicated for coughs and flu with colds and bronchitis, Thyme is also a natural remedy for asthma and urinary tract infections.

Anise.
Anise (Pimpinella anisum L.) is a plant of the Umbelliferae family, whose seeds are known for their indistinguishable aroma.
Anise, however, is not only a plant with aromatic seeds, but it is also one of the most used phytotherapeutic remedies for some disorders. Its expectorant and antiphlogistic properties for the respiratory tract make Anise used - in the form of essential oil - in the treatment of cold, cough and nasal congestion.

Tea Tree.
Tea Tree essential oil is extracted from Melaleuca Alternifolia, from the Myrtaceae family.
Its benefits in the treatment of different ailments are countless and well known, but here we limit ourselves to mentioning those concerning the flu sphere.Tea Tree essential oil, in fact, is indicated in case of infectious states of the respiratory tract that cause pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis or sore throat.
Useful not only to carry out an antiseptic action, Tea Tree Oil also acts as a fluidifier for its expectorant and mucolytic properties.
